Born and raised in Lubbock, Randy is a proud graduate of Lubbock-Cooper High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University, where he also played college football.
Insurance has always been a part of Randy’s family. He followed in the footsteps of his father, R.C. Calderon, who began his insurance career in 1978, serving families throughout Lubbock and the West Texas community.

Those roots helped shape Randy’s own career and his commitment to continuing a family tradition of serving the community he calls home.
Randy has spent the past 15 years in the insurance industry and is the owner of Randy Calderon Insurance Agency. While his roots remain firmly in Lubbock and West Texas, Randy has built relationships with clients throughout Texas, as well as in New Mexico and Oklahoma.
Randy is married to his wife, Micah, and is the proud dad of two daughters, Giselle and Malia. Their family also includes two dogs, Sky and Bubba. Outside of work, Randy enjoys spending time with his family and staying involved in youth and high school athletics. He coaches youth travel softball and serves with the Texas High School Powerlifting Association as a powerlifting judge and meet coordinator for invitational, regional, and state powerlifting meets.
Randy and his family are members of San Ramon Catholic Church, where they attend and remain connected to their faith and community.
For Randy, Lubbock isn’t just where he does business. It’s home, and serving the people of West Texas while building relationships with clients across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma is a family tradition he is proud to continue.
